Stone Mountain Golf Club now offers 36 holes of great daily fee golf. Between
the towering pines and nestled at the foot of Stone Mountain and just 25 minutes
from downtown, two championship courses provide the perfect challenge. Excellent
individual and group instruction and custom club fitting- first rate clubhouse
and pro shop. The golf courses wind through the forest of Georgia pines and
around Stone Mountain Lake. They offer breathtaking views and wonderful, natural
rock formations that will make your round of golf truly memorable. While you're
at the park, enjoy the spectacular laser light show, riverboat cruises, wildlife
preserve, petting farm and a skylift to the top of Stone Mountain. Neighboring
Evergreen Conference Resort upholds Marriott's uncompromising standards of quality
and service, providing a convenient destination for vacationing golfers or business
groups.

by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., is a classic, traditional shot-maker's course that
places an emphasis on accuracy and strategic course management. Rated as one
of the top 75 best public courses in America by Golf Digest during the 1970's
and 80's, Stonemont recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The course was
recently restored to its original layout.
Directions From Emory University:
Take N. Decatur Rd. to Scott. Blvd. Turn left on Scott Blvd. to Hwy. 78 East.
Stay on Hwy 78 East for approximately 8 miles to the main Stone Mountain Park
entrance. After entering the main gate (you'll pay $6 to get into the park),
take the first left onto Stonewall Jackson Drive and proceed 1.5 miles to club
entrance on right. Only 16 miles from Atlanta. From 285 and I-85 (Spaghetti
Junction): Take 285 East to Stone Mountain Freeway (Hwy 78 East). Stay on Hwy
78 East for approximately 8 miles to the main Stone Mountain Park entrance.

first left onto Stonewall Jackson Drive and proceed 1.5 miles to club entrance
on right. Only 16 miles from Atlanta.
